Well, the video game crack that is The Sims 3 did not ship out last Thursday, and the countdown has shifted to 99 days from now (instead of -3, like it should have been).
So I’ve been Not Editing Frostbite again, but I’ve still been working on the series. I’ve started a new story, but this one is also what I’d like to be the final book in the series, and once I have details worked out for it, I ought to know exactly where I’m going with the overarching plot line.

I think I just found the driving conflict of my series. In my head it sounds good. We’ll see about on paper. (One of the things I wanted before I published my first book was to decide where exactly the series would go so that I can put necessary setup details into earlier stories.)

I talked to my Alex, the web programmer, and he’s agreed to help me once his work calms down a little. You’d actually be surprised how many web programmers get home from work and don’t want to program in their spare time — a lot of people forget that they do this stuff all day and, no, they don’t feel like helping with this or that project. But I’m lucky because I have wifely influence, and Alex is a very very nice man.
So what we’re going to do is switch the layout to a permanent design with the goal of including this blog in the design, and make everything a little more grown-up, streamlined, and elegant.
